NH Bankers Association Announces 2017 Community Banker of the Year Award Recipient: Sam Laverack - President And CEO Of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp

New Hampshire Bankers Association (NH Bankers) announced that Sam Laverack, President and CEO of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp, is the recipient of the "2017 Community Banker of the Year" award. Mr. Laverack received the award at the NH Bankers’ Annual Conference this past weekend, held at Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. The award was presented to Mr. Laverack by NH Bank Commissioner, Jerry Little.

The New Hampshire Bankers Association in collaboration with Maine Bankers Association and Vermont Bankers Association will host a visit to Washington, D.C. on October 2-3, 2017. Bankers will have the chance to meet directly with their respective elected officials on Capitol Hill, and interact with the federal banking agencies. Participants will engage with leader­ship at the American Bankers Association (ABA) and Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) and learn about the hot legislative and regulatory issues.
